BOWLING GREEN STATE UNIVERSITY -- The Falcons 5-0-0 league start is their best
since 1982-83, when BG ran off six straight victories before tying and then
losing.  Bowling Green's best ever league start was during the 1978-79 season
when they began the season with 14 straight conference wins.
 
FERRIS STATE UNIVERSITY -- Senior right wing Tim Christian recorded his first
career hat trick in Saturday's 4-2 win at Miami.  Christian, who had nine two-
goal games previously, scored the first three goals of the game (all in the
opening stanza) on Saturday.
 
UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS AT CHICAGO -- After missing the final 18 games last year
due to injuries, junior left wing Rob Hutson has a point in five of the six UIC
games this year, including the last four straight.  He had nine goals and seven
assists in 21 games last season.
 
LAKE SUPERIOR STATE UNIVERSITY -- Sophomore center Brian Felsner leads all CCHA
players with three first goals.  After being held scoreless for the first time
on Friday by Michigan State, he scored the first goal of the game Saturday at
Michigan.  Felsner has four multiple-point games this year.
 
MIAMI UNIVERSITY -- Senior right wing Jason Mallon has a four-game point-streak
heading into Friday's home game against Western Michigan.  Freshman Vitali
Andreev is third on the Redskins squad in goals (2), assists (4) and points (6).
 
UNIVERSITY OF MICHIGAN -- Freshman center Robb Gordon has a seven-game point-
streak going into Friday's contest against Michigan State.  After recording
assists in the Wolverines first three games, he has scored a goal in Michigan's
last four games.
 
MICHIGAN STATE UNIVERSITY -- Five forwards are all averaging at least a point a
game, while 10 players are averaging a point every other game.  Seniors Rem
Murray, Steve Suk, Steve Guolla and Dean Sylvester along with junior Anson
Carter have scored 19 of the Spartans 32 goals this season.
 
UNIVERSITY OF NOTRE DAME -- Sophomore forward Tim Harberts leads the CCHA with
six power play goals and his eight goals overall is just two shy of his
freshman total of 10.  Junior left wing Jamie Morshead has a point in four of
the Fighting Irish's seven games, including three multiple-point games.
 
OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY -- Junior center Randy Holmes has scored nine points this
season on two goal and seven assists.  The nine points surpass his sophomore
total of eight points on two goals and six assists.  Holmes has a point in four
of the last five Buckeye games.
 
WESTERN MICHIGAN UNIVERSITY -- Senior right wing Brian Gallentine, who finished
third in balloting for the CCHA's Best Defensive Forward last year, has a point
in all but two Bronco contests this year and has been minus (plus/minus) for
only one game this season.  He has scored seven goals in seven games.
 
UNIVERSITY OF ALASKA FAIRBANKS -- Sophomore forward Derek Norton, who had one
goal and one assist in four games last season, had two goals in Friday's win
over Lethbridge and tallied the game- winning goal in overtime in Saturday's
triumph over the Pronghorns.
 
CCHA - DID YOU KNOW? -- That all 10 member schools had at least one former
player play in the National Hockey League last season.  Shawn Chambers, of the
Tampa Bay Lightning, played at Alaska Fairbanks during the 1985-86 and 1986-87
seasons.
 
PASS SPORTS TELEVISING CCHA GAMES -- In addition to the eight CCHA regular
season games on the full Prime network, PASS Sports will air six additional
CCHA games plus the College Hockey Showcase.  Four of the additional games have
been aired (Colorado College at Michigan - 10/21; Colorado College at Michigan -
10/22; Lake Superior vs. Notre Dame at the Palace - 10/29; and Lake Superior at
Michigan - 11/5).  The two upcoming contests feature Bowling Green at Michigan
State this Wednesday (11/9) and Lake Superior at Michigan State at 4:00 p.m. on
Saturday, December 3.  The College Hockey Showcase takes place on Friday,
November 25 and Saturday, November 26 in St. Paul, Minnesota, and features
Michigan, Michigan State, Wisconsin and Minnesota.
