I would have more if my original plans to attend this game were not cancelled by the threat of snow. But anyway, it looks like the Dutchmen were outplayed for the second night in a row. Before the game, Coach Bruce Delventhal decided to shake things up, and some surprising names were not in the lineup. Junior defensemen Reid Simonton and Scott Boyd were benched, as was sophomore center Jon Sicinski. The top line was a new combination of Cory Holbrough, Chris Albert, and Charlie Moxham, while last year's big scoring line of Troy Stevens, Chris Ford and Russ Monteith was reunited. It will be interesting to see how Delventhal sets his lines for this weekend's big game at RPI. With the 2 weekend losses, the Dutchmen fall to 1-2-1 in the ECAC and 4-3-1 overall. Union's longest road trip continues with the RPI game next weekend and at Princeton the next. +---------------------------------------------------------------------------+ | This report and much more information on Union Hockey including schedules,| | rosters, team photos, and game reports can be found on the World Wide Web | | at URL http://tardis.union.edu/~terescoj/hockey/hockey.html | +---------------------------------------------------------------------------+ -- Jim Teresco, Research Assistant, Dept. of Computer Science, SCOREC E-mail: [log in to unmask], WWW: http://tardis.union.edu/~terescoj/ US Mail: Amos Eaton Hall, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy, NY 12180 Home: (518)347-0967, School: (518)276-4849, Office: Sage 1112 Also - Power Technologies, Inc.
