Last year when the discussion, which also included flames, on Minnesota recruiting policies I posted a message. It contained a number of quotes that helped explain some of the history behind Minnesota and it's recruiting history. Then, as now, I hope that the quotes can stand on their own and provide some insight, without being inflammatory. Rather than consume the bandwidth of people who had already seen this I have included the listserv commands to directly retrieve it. I hope that people who have had enough interest to post their own messages will have interest enough to retrieve this one. The discussion is older than HOCKEY-L and as long as the "policy" is around the debate will be around. // job echo=no database search dd=rules //rules dd * search "Minnesota Recruiting History" in hockey-l from 4 jan 94 to 5 jan 94 print 014861 /* Thank you, Doug P. --+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-- Douglas J.
