I just wanted to clear up one "fact" that a previous poster included. I didn't save the post so I don't know who it was, but he said that the leading scorer in the CCHA, Brian Holzinger, was a Canadian. Not true - Brian Holzinger is from Parma, Ohio and plays for Bowling Green, so some people might say that BGSU is doing a good job recruiting native Ohioans to play hockey (there are 4 Ohioans on the team). However, I don't think it matters where he grew up. What difference would it make if he was Canadian or Yugoslavian? When I went to Bowling Green 20 years ago almost all of the players were Canadian. We didn't resent Canadians getting scholarships. All we cared about was that the team played hard, put on a good show and won quite a few games. I still don't care where the players grew up. It might give you a little extra lift to see that a local boy is playing well, but I think most fans care more about a winning team than they do about where the players come from. Carol
