BU defeated RPI by a score of 5-1 at Houston Field House Friday night. IMHO, the game wasn't even that close. RPI was very sluggish for most of the game. I'm not sure if it was just that or a combination of things. It eventually got to the point where BU started to skate small circles around the RPI defense. Derek Herlofsky was solid in the net, making a few dazzling saves in the process. I must give RPI some credit, though. After their goal in the third period, they came to life with more physical and inspired play. Mike Tamburro deserves a good hand for his play between the pipes for the Engineers. It probably could have been 9-1 if he didn't make saves on a couple of BU breakaways, and while being peppered with pucks during the 3rd period. ----------------------------------------------- Andy Weise SUNY Potsdam '93 Let's Go Tech!!!
