I also watched this game. The major problem was that ESPN managed to squeeze the game into 1-1/2 hours, with LOTS of commercials. I thought it really hurt the flow of the game. They would have been better off showing the entire game and not show the 1/2 hour show before the game that was devoted to the Rangers winning the Stanley Cup. It would have also made more sense to younger viewers if they had put the game in historical perspective before they showed it. They called it the Miracle on Ice, but many younger viewers wouldn't have known why it was a miracle. I think ESPN has done a terrible job of replacing NHL hockey. They've shown things that are of interest only to New York Ranger fans or that are presented in such a unprofessional way that it ruins them. I would much rather see current minor league or college hockey games. Carol
