Yes, they are brothers.  RPI followers will be quick to add that as a
sophomore, Daren backstopped the Engineers to the NC$$ DivI title in
1985 and then turned pro.  Last season, Derek nearly led UAH to the
DivII title, but they may win it this year.  I do not know if there
has ever been a pair of dufflebag brothers who played for different
national champions before, but it would be quite a feat if it happens.
