As Mike mentioned, there are many other ex-collegians in the ECHL that were not included on my list, I'm certain. It was meant to be as complete a list as I could do straight and purely from memory. If someone has a list of the ex-collegians I missed, I'd be happy to post an addendum (if so, only one comprehensive list please). I was just doing it out of memory and on sight. Anyways, it was interesting to get comprehensive stats because I learned the whereabouts of some players I'd presumed missing. I was happy to see former Clarkson blueliner Martin d'Orsonnens in pro hockey. Was surprised to see former Clarkson forward Jerry Rosenheck in the ECHL (I'd have to assume it's the same person). As a walk-on, Jerry played rather sparingly here. Although I always wondered why Coach Morris didn't play him more. He was not that talented but he impressed me a lot by his gritty play. He showed a lot more emotion and spirit than many of the scholarship players. Whenever he was on the ice, he gave it all he had and I think he was pretty effective. Sorry to see goalie Gregg Malicke leaving Clarkson. He was in a tough situation this season. Playing behind an experienced senior goalie on a team which dug itself an early season hole, record wise. He only played in 6 games and didn't look that sharp in most of them. His technique looked good but he seemed to lack confidence. Certainly that was not helped by the lack of playing time and poor performances when he did get the start. It was an unfortunate situation because it was alsmot self-perpetuating. One can only wonder how things would've turned out this year for Gregg with more playing time. -- Bri Farenell [log in to unmask] Glens Falls, NY AHL, NCAA and ECAC contact for rec.sport.hockey See the "Rich Millionaires" led by Richard Ravitch battle Don Fehr's "Poor Millionaires."
