For those of you who remember when Joe Juneau played for RPI, you'll be
pleased to here that he's signed a new deal with the Washington Capitals
that will make him the highest paid player in Capitals' history. Neither
his agent nor the Caps were giving out details, but the Washington Post
and the Washington Times both reported last week that he'll receive $8.2
million over the next 4 years. The Washington Post said that he'll
receive $1.8 million this year, $2 million the next and $2.2 million for
each of the final two years. They didn't know what kind of signing bonus
he'll get or any of the other details of the contracts.

Now if the Caps can only find a finisher to complement Juneau's
playmaking abilities!
