Ok, Its about time we got around to discussing the 'big daddy'!! Heres an episode that should not be forgotten: Late in the season, BU vs. Northeastern, at Walter Brown. I dont remember what NU defenseman it was but Grier came around the net, as a singular forechecker towards the NU player, next to the net with the puck. What ensued, was the most amazing hit I have ever seen in 19 years of (if I do say so myself!!) vast hockey experience. Grier, complete with full head of steam, hit this poor kid (who to his credit, got right up, how Ill never know), knocked him up off the ice, completely hoizontal to the ice surface, and finally straight on his back. Simply undesribeable!! If anyone knows what Im talking about, feel lucky, and if you have a tape of this game, feel priviledged. Anyway, it was simply unbelieveable!1 Lance Harry U.C. '92 B.U.
