> It also seems to me that maybe you think that the >reason you lost was because of the fact that the Cards were "rested". >Maybe it was just due to the fact that Plattsburgh IS the better team... >just a thought! I wouldn't call your statement a *fact*. The *facts* are that Plattsburgh had a winning percentage of .630 and a strength schedule of .566, while Canisius had a winning percentage of .674 with a schedule strength of .519. Pretty close. In head to head play, Plattsburgh won by a goal at home. Again, not enough IMHO to determine who was the better team last year, much less state it as fact. >Are you implying that by playing a SUNY >school it is thought of as an easy win? (It sure came across >that way to me.) His exact quote was:" The problem with this is that R.I.T. and ELMIRA play those SUNY schools to bulk up on their D-III games (and wins). The *facts* from last season: RIT was 8-1-1 against SUNYAC teams in the regular season, and Elmira was 8-2. That's a combined 16-3-1 against the SUNYAC. Maybe we should take this discussion to hockey3.. Chris Lerch Xerox RIT '84 & '91
