Eric Rickin writes: >So if KSU students can transfer, what happens to their scholarships and >who pays them? I believe that if a school cancels a program and the players who are on scholarship decide to stay and finish their degrees, they will continue to receive that aid as long as they remain eligible to get it. However, if any players transfer to another school, they have to pay their own way at the new school unless that school decides to give them aid, in the form of an athletic scholarship or otherwise. The new school has no obligations concerning whatever aid the player received from his first school. --- --- Mike Machnik [log in to unmask] Cabletron Systems, Inc. *HMM* 11/13/93
