BG gets set for Michigan on Friday and Notre Dame Saturday. Both teams have clinched home ice advantage going into the CCHA playoffs (along with Michigan, Lake Superior, Western Michigan, and Michigan State). Miami (18-13-1, 16-11-1) BGSU (17-14-2, 15-11-2) The Falcons shouldn't feel too bad--they defeated MU two weeks ago (Feb 19). The score was 1-1 after the first and 2-1 in favor of Miami after the second. With five minutes left in the game, MU was ahead 3-2. At 19:48 in the third BG's Sean Pronger scored on a six on four goal to send the game into OT. Senior Richard Shulmistra made 30 saves on the night, but was unable to stop BG's Kelly Perrault from scoring at 3:24 in the extra period, making the final 4-3 Falcons. CCHA Tournament action begins March 11-13 at the campuses of the top six finishers in the league.
