Former Spartan goaltender Bob Essensa (along with a Russian defenseman whose
name escapes me at the moment) was traded from Winnipeg to Detroit for Tim
Cheveldae and Dallas Drake.  (Since there are a lot of Spartan alumni floating
around the country as well as a fair number of Wings fans on the listing, I
thought I'd post this.)
