> It would be nice if in 10-20 years we could look back and wonder how > college hockey could have survived without teams in all parts of the country > and an exciting 32-team tournament whose finals were shown on network TV. > (I'll wake up now.) Hey, we're doing our part at IU--I've begun a crusade to bring college hockey--Division 1 style, to Indiana. So far, we're generating good response. We've got a pretty good club team, although, like UK (we played you guys 2ice at Midnight) play at pretty absurd hours, and we have no publicity. Oh, well. I must agree with you on the expansion of the tourney--esp. if we are going to grow as a sport, and the expansion of the sport in general. As the game's popularity spreads into the basketball-crazed South and Midwest, may we continue to add varsity programs at major institutions. I *know* we'd draw about 5-6000 per game at Indiana. ******INDIANA UNIVERSITY HOOSIERS*****NCAA CHAMPS 1940 1953 1976 1981 1987* Andrew C.
