Just a few quick notes on the Eastern Regionals. My own overall three stars
go to:

        3) Rob Donovan for an absolutely splendid goal against RPI. They
don't get much more asthetically pleasing and it was the game
            winner to boot.

        2) Steve Martins for overall terrific play. I love watching the
            roadrunners.

        1) Neil Little for his heroic efforts in a losing cause. His
netminding during a 5-on-3 was spectacular.

My nine year old son's favorite was the RPI cheer for the opposing team. For
those who haven't had the pleasure, for each player introduced, RPI fans clap
once (or maybe twice) and then yell, "You suck!" Ryan won't be adding that
one to his repertoire, even if he does think it's funny.

Hey, it was a lot of fun meeting new friends, attaching faces to names, and
seeing other friends again.

As we were getting in the car, I asked my son if he had had a good time.

He smiled and said, "I had a GREAT time."

Yeah. Me too.
