Boy, I can't believe it, NO NEW MESSAGES! The contest right now has an even 50 entrants (including my own) and another two or so requests for a fill-in sheet. I usually don't use them myself, since my mailing program doesn't allow me to pull quotes (whenever you see me >> someone's messages, that means I re-typed it and am quoting). But to facilitate entrants, I will put one at the end of this message. Remember, the deadline is 5pm EST tomorrow, and please include your total goals in the championship game. (Aside to [log in to unmask]: My message to you about needing the total goals bounced, so if you could E-mail me the total, I would appreciate it.) In other news regarding the tournament, the Spartan ticket office reported in the Lansing State Journal today that they would have about 200 tickets being returned to them from the participating schools. According to the paper, UM and LSSU would have anywhere from 400-450 fans in attendance. Lowell is expected to bring less than 100 and Minnesota about 100-140. No mention was made of the NU contingent. Those returned tickets would go on sale Friday at the Spartan Ticket Office in Jennison Field House on MSU's campus. The number is 1-800- GO-STATE. Once all reserved tickets are sold, single-game (or single-day, I'm not sure which) SRO tickets will be sold at $10 each. (If they're single-game, they're not worth it.) The ticket office opens at 7:30am EST. Remember there is a $4 Vasoline charge for using a credit card. Also from today's LSJ comes this info. The Spartans will be using their own dressing room for the games at Munn. Hoever, since they are the lowest seed, they will be wearing the road green and using the visiting bench. Local TV coverage of the Regional will be on CH. 53 (WLAJ) in Lansing (the ABC affiliate) for Saturday's UML-MSU game as well as Sunday's 2pm game between the LSSU- NU winner and Michigan and the 5:30 game if the Spartans win on Saturday. There's also a nice article on Doug Woog of Minnesota, but since he gets enough airtime on Hockey-l, I won't quote from it (no offense intended). McPaper has also listed that they will have a preview of the regionals in tomorrow's edition. I only hope it's in the Sports section and it's more than 1/4 page. Anyway, here's the fill-in sheet. Entrants are free to submit their own, and as I said before, as long as I can read it, you're in. Wisconsin ______________ | | |______________ | | W.
