To get the RPI Hockey out of the ECAC would be a dream.  The Ivies are not very cooperative with schools other than the Ivies.  The example of RPI not being allowed to go to the Tournement in Alaska last season because it would put them over the ECAC limit by one game, but Yale was allowed to go over the Ivy limit (unanimously too).
        Other factors in getting out of the league include:
                More coverage in the Newspapers(especially Boston)
                Television coverage ( mostly when playing Boston teams)
                More people we can taunt with:
                                "We may be nerds, but that's all right and
                                 that's okay, you'll all work for us someday"
 
        I spoke with two people close to the team......
                One person was on the team and he did not know much about it
                The other person was a mother of a player and she stated that
                        the team would love to leave the league and she seemed to
                        believe that it would happen for the 95-96 season.
 
        We will have to see........
