To the guys at maine that think maine has a chance for an NCAA spot. Dream on baby..... There is not even a remote chance that maine will play this year. I would like to remind you that they are on a two game loosing streak. Back to the eligibility case. I can not understand why coach walsh is an untachable in this whole buisness. He knew about the candian player Tory's ( i hope that is the correct spelling) eligibility problem. Every body in his right mind knows that walsh was in the loop for each and every one of the violations. It is very nice to find some anonymous guy in the office and put all the blame on him. I am afraid that NCAA will step in and will put maine on some kind of probation like in the case of UNLV,auburn,UMASS-Lowell and so on. What also bothers me is the fact maine officials think they are above the rest of the league because they bring so many fans and revenue to the boston garden. Why is it that the league can't ban maine from post season after so many violations? there are rules and they were clearly violated. Coach walsh can only take an example from BU's jack parker, who suspended himself for being abusive to a referee (an away game last season). Parker also kicked out talented players (lilley) from the team for academic reasons. This situation is not very fair for the maine players and I hope for them and for their university that walsh will be fired (even easier for everybody, resign). He brings down not only his team but also the whole league. Last weeekend after a stupid goal (the fifth BU goal in the first game), he screamed at his players as if they did this on purpose or something. Last thing in favor of walsh, he promised that maine will be the North-Dakota of the east, well, he sure delivered... In any case, it was alot of fun ending the maine season, the second game was as good a college hockey game as it gets. GO BU
