The other Brown team showed up tonight and dominated RPI in beating them 5-1.
Brown was up 1-0 after one, 3-1 after two and finished off the Engineers with a
goal with 11 seconds left. Geoff Finch played great in goal for the Bears, st
opping 35 of 36 shots, while Neil Little stopped 33 of 38 shots. This was defi
nitely Brown's best game of the year, the defense stepped up and shut down the
RPI power play. Gallager, one of tonight's refs, was knocked out of the game
in with about 5 minutes left in the 1st period after being unintentionally run
over by a RPI player. He returned in the 2nd. Brown heads up to SLU and Clark
son next weekend after clinching home ice for the quarterfinals tonight. I won
der which team will show up- the one that has swept RPI and played great agains
t Harvard, or the one that has lost to Dartmouth and Yale.
