Jason Clark led the Bowling Green offense with a hat trick. A trio of Irish goaltenders was not enough to stem the tide of goals. BG's offense was in full swing, with passes and controlled play everywhere, as you can see from the double-assists on all of its goals. Notre Dame started getting frustrated in the third, taking 7 of their 9 penalties in that stanza. Noel Crawford played the final minutes in goal in relief for BG and recorded the first save by a BGHS grad since Eddie Powers played in 1985. I think Eddie was Noel's goalie coach in high school. Noel was awarded the game puck. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Notre Dame vs Bowling Green, February 18, 1994 at BGSU Ice Arena Notre Dame (8-20-4; 6-16-4) 0 1 1 2 Bowling Green (15-12-2; 13-9-2) 3 2 3 8 Scoring 1-BG Holzinger 15 (Perrault, Ackerman) PPG 7:31 1-BG Clark 8 (Fry, Reirden) 11:50 1-BG Clark 9 (Wells, Helbing) 15:57 2-ND Cusey 3 (Bales) 11:45 2-BG Helbing 10 (Fry, Clark) 14:27 2-BG Pronger 14 (Hall, Perrault) 19:41 3-ND Matushak 6 (Lamppa, Bruininks) 1:47 3-BG Ackerman 2 (Johnson, Herman) 14:01 3-BG Clark 10 (Wells, Holzinger) PPG 16:46 3-BG Elvin 2 (Lune, Williams) PPG 19:05 Goalies Saves Min/GA ND-Lothrop 12- x- x--12 20:00/3 ND-Louder x- 7- x-- 7 20:00/2 ND-Salzman x- x- 9-- 9 20:00/3 BG-Petrie 7- 3- 5--15 58:23/2 BG-Crawford x- x- 1-- 1 1:37/0 Penalties: ND 9/26 BG 5/10 Power Plays: ND 0/4 BG 3/7 Rfes: Shell, Petterle Line: Nowosatka Att: 3245
