Shots on goal are still too low, IMHO. Suk's two power play goals are somewhat of a shocker. Listening on the radio, this was sort of a nip-and-tuck game all the way, the kind of game you would expect from Michigan State and Lake Superior. Spartans do not play again until Saturday night in Detroit against Michigan (who is, coincidentally, the last team to beat MSU 11-1 before Lake St. did it on Friday). Spartans find themselves now only 1 point up on third-place Western Michigan, who has a game in hand, and three points up on Lake Superior. Circle Friday, March 4 on your calender, for the game that probably will de- cide second place in the CCHA when Western Michigan visits Munn Ice Arena to play the Spartans. It's also MSU's last game of the season. G. M. Finniss Michigan State University WVU (who lost to Rutgers) '87, UTenn (who lost to Georgia) '92, MSU (who lost to Purdue) who the hell knows when?
