Because I don't recall seeing it mentioned anywhere... While University of Maine right winger Chris Ferraro "improved a great deal," some of his teammates "improved a little more," Team USA hockey head coach Darryl Seibel said Monday. Seibel cut Ferraro from Team USA's roster. Former Minnesota player Darby Hendrickson was picked instead of Ferraro. Hendrickson had 12 goals and 15 assists in 55 games for Team USA while Ferraro had 8 goals and 34 assists in 48 games. Seibel said Hendrickson, who's four inches taller and 20 pounds heavier than Ferraro, is more physical than Ferraro and a better penalty killer. Ferraro will remain with the team until Feb. 11 in case a forward gets injured. Feb. 11 is the deadline for submitting the roster. Information for this post was taken from the Bangor Daily News.
