Spartans are now 5-0 on the road in the new year. (I personally think that they have a deal with Good Times Pizza that they score all their goals on the road and score less than 6 at home so we can't get free pizza. :-)) Buzak was pulled for only the second time this year after allowing 3 goals in a 3:16 span of the second and third period. Mason indicated that he wanted to give Eric Kruse some ice time, so he felt that after Buzak gave up the fourth goal that it was time to pull him. If OSU is one of the best 40-minute teams in hockey, then they got it back- wards on Saturday night. Obviously they felt like the last 40 minutes was more important than the first 40. G. M. Finniss Michigan State University WVU '87, UTenn '92, MSU who the hell knows when? P. S. Penalty on OSU' Richards in the third was at 3:35, waving off Sasha Guilbault's fourth goal of the night, which would have cut MSU's lead to 6-5. Guilbault's hat trick was OSU's first of the season.
