(or 'Not dead yet')

Clarkson played by far their best game of the season and used 4
third period goals to beat their archrival St Lawrence Saints,
5-3 in Potsdam today. It was Clarkson's fifth straight win in the
Route 11 rivalry.

Clarkson got on the board first (for the first time this season) on
a Steve Palmer power play goal. SLU's Burke Murphy tied it up at
16:05 of the first on a rebound goal. SLU made it 2-1 when Jeff
Kungle put a shot by (a screened?) Clarkson goalie Jason Currie.
SLU led 2-1 after two.

Defenseman Brian Mueller scored his 7th of the year when he blasted
a shot past SLU goalie Paul Spagnoletti who was screened. SLU made
it 3-2 when Ryan Cassidy powered past the Clarkson defenseman and
richocheted a shot past Currie.

Clarkson had a long 5 on 3 power play but could not convert. Spagnoletti
made an incredible sliding save to preserve to lead... but not for long.
On the power play marko Tuomainen got the puck in alone near the goal
and went around Spagnoletti to tie the game at 3. It was Marko's
7th point in the last two games. Chris Lipsett got the game winning
goal at 12:39 of the third when he slid a rebound past Spagnoletti.
Tuomainen put the game out of reach 1:23 later for the final 5-3 score.

Clarkson goes to 4-4-2 and 2-2-1 in the ECAC while SLU drops to 6-3, 4-1.
