University of Maine players Paul Kariya and Blair Allison have been
named Hockey East Player of the Month and Rookie of the Month for
November.
 
Kariya averaged 2.3 points per game while Allison was 5-0 in goal
for Maine with a 2.00 goals-against average and a .924 save per-
centage.
 
Allison shared Rookie of the Month honors with UMass-Lowell winger
Greg Bullock.
