I would be outraged, too, if this were true. But it isn't!
 
Games played in Alaska count. They are real games, not exhibitions,
and the stats count for the team and for the individuals.
 
But, games played in Alaska do count toward a team's 34 game
limit set by the NCAA. The NCAA is actually PROMOTING Alaska schools
by doing this. Go to Alaska: they will pay and you can still
play your 34 games in the lower 48 states.
 
Don't think you can blame the NCAA on this one.
