The Ottawa Senators and Pittsburgh Penguins skated to a 2-2 tie Saturday night
at the Civic Arena. Part of the reason the Senators salvaged the point was
because of the stellar goaltending of former LSSU star Darrin Madeley. Madeley
stopped 47 of the Penguins' 49 shots and held the Pens scoreless until the
third period. The Senators were up, 2-0, before the Penguins scored two power
play goals to attain the tie.
