A quick look at the ECAC standings shows that things are not exactly going
the way the experts thought they would.  Hanging out at the top spot, along
with Harvard, are two "rebuilding" teams, Colgate and St. Lawrence, who are
both undefeated and who both own a victory over league favorites (Colgate
over Harvard and St. Lawrence over RPI).  Farther down, we find Clarkson and
RPI, two teams who, it was felt, would be in the thick of things the whole
way.  Both the Golden Knights and the Engineers are off to shaky starts, but
then, it *is* still pretty early in the season...
