Robert M. DeGregorio, Merrimack College's director of athletics and the
chairman of the Hockey East Association's Executive Committee was
elected Acting Commissioner of the league by unanimous vote of the board
of directors.
 
He replaces Stuart Haskell, who resigned earlier to devote more time to
his duties as North Atlantic Conference Commissioner.
