Denver had a scheduling conflict and pulled out of the Freeze-Out a little while ago. The Pioneers are playing UAA that weekend. With the tourney being moved to Thanksgiving weekend this year, it apparently made it harder to find a WCHA team that had that slot open. So I wouldn't blame the tourney organizers or Denver; it just seemed to be one of those things (I know the WCHA had a heck of a time working out its schedule this year with the addition of UAA). Toronto was a natural choice to replace DU, as Jim said because of the connections with UNH and the solid performance UT has had in previous Freeze-Outs. --- Mike Machnik [log in to unmask] [log in to unmask] Cabletron Systems, Inc. *HMN* 11/13/93
