Shuchuck scored the game winner in double overtime against Vancouver to give the Kings a 3-2 advantage in the series. Shuchuck, who was a superstar in his Madison days, had not dressed since game two of the previous series and was a late replacement for Cory Millen. Talk about making the most of your opportunity! Any other observations on former collegians in the playoffs? - Pat Well, Cory Millen is a ex Gopher(class of 1988 I think) and went to the same High School as Derek Plante. Rob Stauber is 3-1 in the Playoffs but is currently back-up to Hrudley. Denny Felsner,(U Mich), seems to be playing a important role with the Blues these days.(Not to mention that ex-Badger in net!!!). Also, former North Dakata Sioux Dixon Ward is doing very well with Vancouver. And this is just off the top of my head. It seems that Collegians are making more than a minor impact these days.
