Senior center Jim Montgomery was honored as Maine's most valuable
player for the 1992-93 season and Paul Kariya was honored as Maine's
rookie of the year at a banquet Saturday. The banquet, open to the
public, was held at Harold Alfond Sports Arena.
 
Kariya was named co-captain of next year's squad. (Can't remember
the other co-captain - Imes?)
