Oh, I think he'll stick around. Both of his parents are educators and
he's already said he'll be back next year. From what I've heard, he's
a pretty smart guy off the ice as well as on. If so, he knows the longer
he plays collegiate hockey, the higher his value goes and the more
prepared for life he'll be. Too many players have jumped from the
collegiate ranks to the pros, only to find they weren't ready enough
and they have nothing to fall back on if they get cut or when they
retire.
 
The last I heard about Jean-Yves Roy, who was supposed to be a senior
this year for Maine, he was struggling in the minors.
 
Just imagine how much better Maine would be if Roy had stayed!
