OK, I called Midwest Sports Channel and Here's what they told
me. They wan't to do the game but the NCAA won't allow it unless
9,000 tickets are sold 24 hours prior to game time! Would you believe
it! The NC$$ *UCKS over hockey fans yet again. What in hell does selling
tickets in Mass. have to with broadcasting a game in Minnesota? Do they
really think that the threat of no TV will cause people to leave their
jobs and fly half-way across the country on less than a weeks notice?
Will the NC$$ ever understand that College Hockey is NOT basketball!!
Does the NC$$ demand 9,000 tickets in order to show the swiming championship?
WHAT'S THE DEAL?
Is it possible for the four leagues to organize their own tourny al-la
the NIT so that the NC$$(Which couldn't care less about hockey anyway)
would keep its greedy grubby fingers out of things?!

                                Angrily,
                                Gary Hatfield
