Here's a more complete repost of what's on NESN and NESC (New England SportsChannel) this coming weekend. It's pretty impressive. Note the 16 1/2 straight hours of college hockey on NESN from 4:30 Fri to 9 am Saturday. Fri 3/19 4:30 pm NESN College Hockey USA 5:00 pm NESN HE semifinal #1 (live) 8:00 pm NESN HE semifinal #2 (live) 11:00 pm NESN ECAC semifinal #1 (tape, length 2:30) Sat 3/20 1:30 am NESN ECAC semifinal #2 (tape, length 2:30) 4:00 am NESN WCHA semifinal #1 (tape, length 2:30) 6:30 am NESN WCHA semifinal #2 (tape, length 2:30) 12:30 pm NESN College Hockey USA (rebroadcast) 5:00 pm NESC CCHA semifinal #1 (live) 8:00 pm NESC CCHA semifinal #2 (live) 8:00 pm NESN HE championship (live) 11:00 pm NESN ECAC championship (tape, 3:00) Sun 3/21 3:00 am NESC CCHA semifinal (tape, 3:00, not sure which game) 7:30 am NESN HE championship (tape, 3:00) 10:30 am NESN ECAC championship (tape, 3:00) 7:00 pm NESC CCHA championship (tape, 3:00) 8:30 pm NESN WCHA championship (tape, 3:00) Mon 3/22 9:00 am NESN WCHA championship (tape, 3:00) This means that viewers in New England with access to both cable channels will be able to see every semifinal and championship game of the four conferences. And, due to the replays and delayed broadcasts, you can even tape all of the 12 games. How about that. Kudos to the folks at both networks for bringing us these games. You'll likely be able to see every team that will make the NC$$ tourney on tv this weekend, as 16 teams will be shown (8 twice). For people not in NE, check your local listings to see if your local cable will carry any of these games. No one is listed as carrying any of the NC$$ regional games next Friday, but sometimes those things are decided at the last minute. If anyone hears that they will be shown, please post. --- Mike Machnik [log in to unmask] Color Voice of the Merrimack Warriors (Any opinions expressed above are strictly those of the poster.) *HMN*
