        What criterion are you using to determine "best"?  The answers,
if you get any, are  going to be, by their very nature, purely subjective.
I hope you'll pardon me, but it's a useless question.  Hockey East has
Maine, clearly the dominant team this year, so it could be called best.
The CCHA has the best competition among its top few teams this year,
so it could be called best.  Which league has the "best" organization and
administration?  I don't know, do you?  Which league has produced the most
NC$$ champions?  That would be a possible argument...

        Your answers point out the problems.  I come from a WCHA school
originally, so I "like" the WCHA, but everything you listed in this response
could be matched by any of the other leagues- good teams, coaches, players
in the nhl, etc.

        I don't think it will be terribly interesting or even more to the
point, useful.  Just IMHO, of course...
