Lets see...other little tidbits... Friday's game: o UAF scored two goals in the remaining three minutes of the game to pull have a half way respectable 4-5 loss instead of 2-5... o Shots on goal were about even o Each team had one power play goal o Intense game.... Saturday's game: o The lead changed hands three times and the teams were tied four times... o UAF's power play was very successful (thee or four I think) compared to UAA's dismal one pp goal. o UAA outshot UAF something like 42 to 25 o 78 penality minutes were given out. With the record for this year being 2-0-2 UAA, it marks the first time in eight years that one of the Alaska schools has not lost to the other. The four games that these two teams played (two in Anchorage, two in Fairbanks) were the best and most intense games of the season...though I suppose rivalry games tend to rank up there anyway... :) Go Seawolves!
