Michigan State won its second straight CCHA game on Friday by beating Bowling Green State Univ 6-2; however, MSU lost senior co-captian and defenseman Wes McCauley, and also freshman left wing Mike Ware to injuries. McCauley took a hit in the knee in the second period, suffering severe sprained ligaments in his left knee. Later in the same period, Ware was hit, and then fell on his right leg. It is reported in the Lansing State Journal the Ware could have a broken leg. Both players are expected to be out for the rest of the season. MSU faces off tonight against the University of Michigan in a neutral site game at Joe Louis Arena in Detroit. Michigan will be without the services of Rick Willis, Ron Sacka and Ryan Sittler. All three will be sitting out serving game DQ's as the result of a fight in last nights game. Scott Preadmore MSU Admin Info Services GO GREEN!
