I didn't include it in my account of Saturday's Denver-Northern Michigan
game, but the goal lights not only weren't working at the start of the
game--they weren't working for the first two periods!  Much as I hate to
say it, maybe that was a good thing for the Wildcats, given Brent
Riplinger's game-tying goal at 20:00 of the second period.  (As I did
note in my account , however, two Wildcat goals were disallowed and even
Doug Woog said after the period that they should have been allowed.)
