The Princeton Tigers defeating the Boston University Terriers this afternoon, 3 - 2. BU scored a short-handed goal early in the first, but did not score again until there were 24 seconds left in the game. Princetn scored a power-play goal in the second, and scored their second goal of the game with a two man advantage. BU could not score when they had a two man advantage later in the second. The third period was the best of all, with Princeton putting a lot of pressure on BU goalie Scott Cashman, who made several spectacular saves. Tiger forward Scott Sinson scored with 1:18 left in the game to put the Tigers up 3-1. BU coach Parker pulled Cashman, and BU scored to make it 3-2 with 24 seconds left. With Cashman back in the game, BU could not get the equalizer as time ran out on them. In an unusual move, all three of Princeton's Goalies played today. Sr Craig Fiander played the first, Soph Rod Yorke played the second, and Frosh James Konte played the third. All three played a solid period between the pipes. BU goalie Cashman played well also.
