Minnesota started fast and finished slow, but managed to hang on
to beat the Michigan Tech Huskies.  The Gophers scored at even strength,
short-handed, and on a penalty shot, missing only a power play goal to
complete the set in the first period.  The Huskies dominated the
remaining two periods, but were not able to force the game into overtime.
Whew!
