In a rare regular-season matchup between Harvard and Boston University, the
Terriers defeated the Crimson 4-3. Jacques Joubert had 2 goals and an assist
for the Terriers. Jay Pandalfo also netted a goal and assist. Dave Sacco,
playing defense, also had an assist. Steve Flomenhoft, Cohagan, had 2 of
the Harvard goals, and Ted Drury added an assist.
The big problem for Harvard was playing as team. Not until midway through
the third period did the Crimson get their act together, when they rallied for
two goals. Aaron Israel started in net for the Crimson but didn't live up
to form until late in the game. Many BU shots rang the post or were wide of
an open net.
That's all for now...J.P. McKersie had 25 saves for BU, Israel had 23 for HU.
I'll try and add more tomorrow..
So much for the *undefeated* Crimson!
