There are no HOCKEY EAST-ECAC games on NESN this year except for the
Beanpot semifinals. It is unclear whether this decision was made by NESN
or the ECAC, although NESN folks indicate that the ECAC may have pulled
out in an attempt to distance itself from HOCKEY EAST such as was done by
moving the ECAC championship to Lake Placid.

NESN announcers again this year will be Bob Kurtz (play-by-play) and Bob
Norton (color). Kurtz was recently named NESN's play-by-play man for the
Boston Red Sox starting with the 1993 season, so congratulations to him.
Prime Network will again work with NESN this year to broadcast some HE
games in other areas of the US.

This is HOCKEY EAST's ninth season, and the ninth season of tv affiliation
with NESN. NESN has broadcast over 200 HE games since 1984.
