Student season tickets at the University of Minnesota cost $110. The package
includes the Mariucci Classic and the first round of the WCHA playoffs, for
a total of 23 or 24 games. At a per-game cost of about five bucks for the
best hockey in town (and there's a lot of hockey here!) this is a bargain.
Prices for staff and public tickets are considerably higher, but given the
quality of the hockey I think it's still the best deal around (which is why
Paula and I have had Gopher season tickets since 1980).
