Yes, it's true.  I am assuming the sports information director's job
at North Dakota.  It's a good move for me professionally, personally
and financially; I'll miss Northern Michigan and the great people
I've worked with here.  But it's time to move on.
 
As far as UPSIDA goes, we are in the process of trying to decide what
we'll do.  It got to be quite difficult, especially toward the end of
the season.  In fact, by the end of the year Scott Monaghan (LSSU)
and I were doing it by ourselves because Dave Fischer (MTU) (who is
the info. director for the Great Lakes Conference, as well) was just
too busy.  I think we will do everything we can to keep it going; it
got a good response.
 
I hope to remain on hockey-l, either via computers at work or through
the one I plan to buy for myself at home in the near future.  By the
way, any suggestions as to what to buy as far as home computers go?
