Tim asks ... >Just out of curiousity, what happens now that the season is over in regards to >this Listserv? HOCKEY-L continues, albeit at a slower pace. If previous seasons are any predicter, we'll have discussions on new recruits, playoff formats, etc. Your administrator basicly chills out and lets the discussions go, as long as they are respectful. I have a number of activities for myself, as I have suggested in earlier postings. Perhaps some other have some special projects they'd like to tackle? I have a couple of discussion topics I'll broach during some slow periods this summer and I'm sure others do also. I'd like to see some more features on HOCKEY-L also. For this purpose, I'll call TCHCR, RPICH, and the HOCKEY-L Poll features. Surveys, if well done are welcome. If you have one in mind, perhaps you could use the summer HOCKEY-Lers if help you with getting it into shape. We have lots of people that work or volunteer directly for college hockey ... a description of what you do would make interesting reading! I'd love for one or more of our referees to give us a (weekly?) continuing series on refereeing. A fans guide to hockey rules is another area of general interest. HOCKEY-L will be what you make of it. Enjoy and participate! Wayne Smith The College Hockey Discussion List administrator BITNET/CREN: wts@maine internet: [log in to unmask] P.S.
