PERSONAL OPINION: I certainly think Brian Mueller should've merited at least
honorable mention. He was the best all-around defensemen for the Knights
and I think was at least as good as the second-teamers. But I think a more
glaring mistake (IMHO) is putting Soucy on the first team. IMHO, he belongs
on honorable mention, or at least behind Duffus. Duffus had a better season
than Soucy and was even more valuable to Cornell than Soucy was to UVM. Soucy
should be rookie-of-the-year but not the league's top goalie.

[ Personally, I would agree with Brian that Duffus probably had a better season
than Soucy, but I think I know what happened here. The stats for the two
goalies were very close, but Duffus had a bad game against Union in the
second-to-last weekend of the season, followed that up with a loss to Dart-
mouth in spite of a pretty good performance, and then was benched for the
game against Vermont. The losses to the two worst teams in the ECAC and
then sitting out against Soucy probably swayed the voters a bit -- Bill ]

With all the forward selections, did they actually choose anyone or was
the All_Rookie forwards just a list of all the forwards who happened to
be freshmen?
