There was an actual fight to end the game with Michigan Tech's Darcy
Martini (one goal, two assists) and UAA's Jim Tobin (no goals, no assists).
This capped an ugly third period with 7 roughing penalties called and two
game DQs for the gentlemen above (no pun intended:)).  Overall, it was
an evenly matched game and exciting to watch, especially the 100' empty net
goal by Derek Donald with 23 seconds left to play.
 
UAA seems to be establishing its rivalries within the WCHA before being
admitted. :)
