I posted this once before, but Jim's Union summary made me want to post it again. I would hate for the Cornell pep band to be blamed for that band that showed up during the Cornell-Union game over winter break at Achilles. We were an impromptu alumni band who just showed up with some instruments. I played snare because I was the only one who could come close to doing a roll-off. I hadn't played drums since about 1984! The regular band would have been much louder and better. They get in a little more playing time than we do. Just a reminder to Cornellians that I will be coming into town this weekend for the RPI-Union games (yes, I'll be at the Chapter House), but I still need tix for Saturday night. If you know of any available, e-mail me off-line. -- Dave [log in to unmask] Cornell '91 OSU Med '95 Let's Go Red! "When we ordered the uniforms, the Soviet Union still existed."
